Basically, never give out any personal information via email. That's just silly!

E-mail Fraud Alert. Seriously. If you get an email from your bank, or from eBay, or whatever, call them to make sure it's legit. And call the number on the official website, or in the phonebook, or whatever. Email scams look really legitimate now, people are clever, so don't get fooled!

In other news, I'm hoping for snow day number 2 tomorrow, but will not be holding my breath as it's only about 10cm overnight. Teaching is great, I love that I can legitimately hope for a day off for weather. I think though, that nobody should have to go to work if it's that treacherous out. Other businesses should have the option to tell their employees to stay home. Some do, malls have been known to close early. I found out also though, that while teachers and students get to stay home, custodial staff, secretaries, and TAs are expected to make it in to put in their hours. Lame!

Back to work.

I totally agree. I want snow days, too! I think it has to do with that whole 'won't somebody PLEASE think of the children!' school of thought (pardon the pun) that they don't want kids becoming kidsicles out in the snow.

Still, though, I'm just as vulnerable to hypothermia.

-30 tomorrow. Tabernac!!
