so, turns out we still haven't gotten around to seeing the Bourne Supremacy, but we might go tonight. We ended up waiting for a couple of friends of the boy's, and then just didn't go. We did, however, go see The Notebook last night, and it was really good. A bit weepy, as is expected, (the guy who wrote the novel, Nicholas Sparks, is the one and the same guy who wrote Message in a Bottle and A Walk to Remember, whaddya expect?), but not overwhelmingly so, and I should know, I'm one to get overwhelmed by weepiness at movies.
Plans for today...going to Superstore to deposit a cheque and buy some healthy food. Eating healthy is hard, especially in the summer. I'm trying it though, because, among other reasons, it's just generally a good idea. I tend to get in this phase in summer time, when I'm not working, where I don't really eat meals, I just sort of eat whatever, whenever. Not the best plan. So I'm going to buy some fruit and stuff, so that at least if I do eat whatever, whenever, it'll be good eats. I think I'll go for a walk too, there's a really nice walking path by our place, far enough away from the road that you don't die of exhaust fumes most of the time. It does take me right past DQ, which is slightly problematic, but yesterday I brought a popsicle with me, and avoided temptation nicely. Even though the Moolatté had a lasting and unpleasant effect on my digestive tract, it was so tasty...maybe another one wouldn't be so bad? Or, it might kill me. Hmm. Worth considering.
