Wow, I'm boring. Left to my own devices, I'll really just sit around and do nothing. Perhaps get some fast food. I'm going to be in trouble when Grant leaves, I'll just be a deathly bored fat person wallowing in my own...boringness.

I have been trying to put together a plan for the year, but I have to wait and see what I can get for supplies before I can get into really detailed planning. I did meet with my art teacher from high school, and he was pretty helpful, he gave me copies of his course outlines from last year and some ideas on ways to do art history with minimal (read: no) resources like slides and ... a really thorough knowledge to be quite honest. Where we'll be near a gallery, I can get my 11/12s to go 2-3 times in the term and write reviews of the shows, perhaps research one artist they're interested in. I have some fun ideas for projects too, that won't take a lot of resources. I'd like to do some sculpture, I'm hoping plaster of Paris turns out to be not terribly expensive and maybe we can do carvings. I can get them to practise on cheap bars of soap or styrofoam blocks too, so we don't end up wasting too much stuff. I'm looking forward to it, and I'm not terribly worried, which is in itself kind of worrisome. I'm just going to use what I have. I plan to make up rough outlines tonight or tomorrow, I'm meeting Mr Brooks again Monday to make up an order, so it'd be nice if I knew what I would need before then. I'm assuming I can go to Kent to buy wood and stuff and get reimbursed, rather than ordering stuff, but I'll find out for sure.

Anyway, I've been away neglecting my poor kitties all day, so I'm going to go give them some lovin'.
