it is halloween, after all

Might as well carve yourselves a pumpkin! Courtesy of Ma.

5 days until the big event! Have you got your costumes picked out? I don't. The wee lad hasn't got his either, and we have a hot date Halloween party this weekend. With a bunch of other babies / toddlers, of course. Competition will be fierce. I'm thinking about skipping out and just meeting up with my friend and her little one, who's almost exactly the same age as my dear boy. We haven't seen eachother for an embarrassingly long time, so it makes sense that we might try to get together.

In other news, I got my sweaters out of summer storage yesterday. I had them in a bin in an upstairs closet, since they were taking up much-needed shelf space in my closet. "Our" closet, technically. I decided it was about that time of year that one could reasonably expect to wear a sweater every day. For some people, like my sister, it's always that time of year. For most though, it's around now. I've also got to go through my clothes, as I seem to have a lot of them, and I know I don't wear all of them. Some are too big, some are just ugly or impractical. Whatever.

I should be working right now. Stop distracting me.

Oh, also, I think the Vue has been taken out of the equation, but it's possible that a used Honda crv has been added. They're rated really well as used cars, esp for families and stuff. So, input is still appreciated.

I carved my pumpking this weekend!

It's a kitty. Scary, huh? :)

Sadly, Halloween is sort of a non event for me this year. Living in an apartment, we won't get any kiddies at our place, and the weather this weekend wasn't very conducive to partying. We did watch Silent Hill, though. That was sort of scary... In a geeky sort of way... :)

We just got a 98 CRV and I am in love with it. Very practical vehicle with children, lots of space and you don't kill your back putting little ones in their car seats.

see, that's good to know. My mom thinks I should get an Element, but you have to climb up into the car to get the babe in the carseat, it's a huge hassle. Also, only 4 seats, so if you ever wanted to bring another person with you and the fam, you're out of luck. Or, if you have twins, after the first baby. Ha!
Is it decent on gas? I like the older style better than the newer ones, they're really big now.
