S'been a while. Story of my life. Or at least my site.

In Halifax for the long weekend with my mom and sister. Dad has gone to the cottage, even though it's like, plus 2 and raining all weekend. Hubby and the boy have gone to visit his parents, so it's a weekend off for me. Lovely. We went for a bit of shopping yesterday, but the power went out at Costco while we were there. Very strange. They then kicked us all out, but did let us buy what we had already picked up. I got a book, Wiped, by Rebecca Eckler. She wrote Knocked Up also, which was basically a journal of her finding out she was pregnant right through having the baby. Very, very funny stuff. This one is about life with, you guessed it, the kid. You'd think I wouldn't necessarily want to read about basically my own life, but she puts it in a much funnier way than I do, so it's good.

What else. Not sure what the plans are for today, heading back home tomorrow. Might go visit my cousin, haven't seen her for months and months.

The school year is rapidly winding down. I still have NO IDEA what I'll be doing next year. I had already notified my old district, from which I am technically on leave, that I would not be returning. The guy who I emailed actually called me a couple of days ago to let me know that he needed to know if I was coming back or not. Pretty annoying. So, now I have to call him again, and try not to make him feel like an idiot, even though he is.

I have to go get dressed and stuff. I'll be back.
