apparently it's supposed to snow or precipitate in one form or another every day this week. which is fine for rain and plus 7 on Tuesday, but not so great for 20cm of snow on Wednesday, when I had planned to go visit my parents with the wee lad. So, now the wee lad is going to the outlaws for tomorrow, I'm going to have a free day and maybe get an oil change, and try to change my doctor's appointment that's Tuesday at 2:15 to sometime earlier that day so I can leave here earlier and get to the 'rents house earlier. See?
anyway.
I'm on March break, clearly, hence the travel plans. The man and I were supposed to go out to my sister's place for fondue and ... adult company last night, so the mother-in-law came up, and then we had this GIANT SNOWSTORM yesterday and last night, so we all were stuck here. I'm all for family time, but dates are pretty nice too.
We watched the first episode of Dexter a couple of weeks ago. It was super fantastic. So, I think on Tuesday, the man comes home with the complete first season on dvd. And we watched the whole thing by the time the following Sunday came along. Which was great, the show rules, and it would have sucked to only be able to watch one, massively edited for public tv consumption episode per week. But now we're done, and I have no idea when season 2 comes out, but it's not out now, which is sad. I love Dexter too, even though he's a serial killer. I don't even care. I mean, look, can you blame me? Awesome.
Anyway. So we're back to watching the ones on Sunday nights, which is better than nothing, but not really that good, relative to new, unedited episodes.
I have to do my taxes and get a snack. Later skaters.

I'm thinking we will buy the DVDs - I missed an episode because of the Oscars.
Also, LOST airs twice on Thursdays - the episode from last week and then the new one, so you could always sorta catch up a little. Last week blew my mind.
Lastly, the first two times I read the post I thought the title was "I'm like a lion" and I couldn't figure out what that had to do with anything. I was waiting for some kind of story about you protecting your cub(s). Roar.
