garden!

maybe that's a bit of a strong word for the few things I have growing in the bank of rocks and a little bit of dirt behind my house. However, things *are* growing, as the following pictures will illustrate.

I call them "despite my complete lack of skill, holy shit, things are growing!"



There you go. I don't know what they are. In the fall, I planted a bunch of bulbs. By 'planted' I mean threw a bunch of them in the rocky dirt and hoped for the best. There are tulips, crocuses, and maybe something else. We'll see I guess!

I also went out with the babe yesterday and did a little shopping. I found these beauties, which may well serve as my wedding shoes. I'll keep looking, but I'm pretty sure they'll do nicely. Especially considering nobody is going to be looking at my feet.



Planning continues, I'm waiting to hear from Superstore as to whether hydrangeas are available in August, and we'll go from there. We have to book a tent and some kind of catering action. Then the fiancé has to find something to wear. I think that's all the big stuff. Oh, cake. Then we're done. The rest is favours and stuff which we've decided on but haven't ordered yet, because it doesn't need to be ordered yet. Invitations are planned and will be ordered this week or next, and ideally mailed soon after that.

Babe is sleeping, time for pilates and a shower. Whee!
