seriously, you can. I think I'm going to sell it and lease something a *little* bigger with a/c. I like my car, and it still has warantee and everything on it, but I think with the amount of stuff we need to lug with us now, it's not going to work very well. I have discovered that I can fit my stroller in the trunk, but it has to go in just so, and the handle still meets prematurely with the trunk when it closes, but it will close. Also, then I can't fit anything else in, like a playpen or, say, luggage. Good times. I don't know why, it's a good size trunk and a normal stroller. Clearly not a family car!
As I've been thinking of selling though, I've been thinking more about the car itself, and when I was driving back from Moncton the other day, I decided that a person could tell a great deal about me by going for a drive with me in my car.
For example:
-I couldn't afford a really sweet car when I bought this one, but it's decent.
-My favourite colour is blue, so that's what colour my car is. I think the colour of your car is very important, you shouldn't just get whatever colour they have in the lot.
-I like to drive about 15 over the speed limit. I've basically convinced myself that the limit is actually 120, not 110, so I don't feel like I'm speeding much.
-I generally eat something unhealthy while driving, as evidenced by the chip bags in the little holder thing on the driver's side door
-I like doo-dads, but not too many. I have a flower that I won at the FREX a couple of years ago wrapped around the rearview mirror, and 2 bobbleheads in the back.
-I become emotionally attached to my belongings. One of the aforementioned bobbleheads, a dog named Bob, is broken and no longer bobs, but just sits by the rear windshield with his friend Lester, the bobbing lobster, who does indeed bob. They're both sort of old and faded, and Bob is a good 3-4 years old, but I just can't bear to part with him.
-I enjoy a variety of music. My sunvisor cd holder has cds by Coldplay, Fiona Apple, Maroon 5, Sheryl Crow, Robbie Williams, John Mayer, Tragically Hip, Sam Roberts, the Garden State soundtrack, and several homemade mixed cds with everything from Donovan to the B-52s to John Lennon.
-I still buy cds, I haven't downloaded more than a couple of songs in the past year.
-I have a baby. I care about said baby, so I have a carseat base, window shades, and one of those mirrors on the rear windshield so I can see him while I'm driving.
that's all I can think of for now, but that's a lot to tell about a person just from their car, isn't it?
