two days in a row, wow
I just had to though. I was out and about today, getting a gift bag and tissue paper for my dear fiancé's birthday present, renting a movie, buying things at Superstore. On my way home from the movie store, I saw the sweetest and yet heartbreaking thing. There was a missing cat poster on the lamp post, but rather than your standard photo and phone number, this was a work of art. By, I'm guessing, 4 year olds. It had a hand-drawn picture of possibly the ugliest cat ever, described as grey, coloured in solid black with a white face. His name is Radar. The kids had written all over it things like "we love Rabar" and "I (heart) Ray" and their phone number with backwards 4s in it. The grown-up in the house had written in small but very clear letters in the top right corner 'if you have any infomation please call 455-xxxx'. I wanted to take a picture of it, but all I had on my was my cell phone which can take pictures, but not great ones, and then the light changed for me to cross the street. I'm very seriously considering going back to take a picture with my camera. I really hope they find their cat, it's so sad to lose a pet, you just never know what happened or where they went for sure. We lost a cat when I was 11, but we (a friend of my sister's actually, while babysitting) found him a few months later living with another family. Weird eh? What are the odds? We lost a couple of other cats too though, and didn't have such luck.
