pretty much. Our bid's been accepted, with the conditions we put on about things found in the inspection needing to be fixed (nothing big, since it is a new house), there's no ecoli in the water, and we close August 15th. Go have a gander, I made a movie. It's broken into 2 parts, and ends rather abruptly because I was trying to make it small enough for my parents to see on their cottage dial-up account.
downstairs and upstairs. Enjoy my sweet narration at the beginning. Apologies for the format, I don't know if everyone will be able to see it, but the only program I had to change the ginormous .avi file into anything more manageable was Windows Movie Maker, which of course saves in its own file format.
In other news, I'm up and posting at 7am because, as some of you may be aware, babies don't understand about weekends and sleeping in. He's up, happy as ever, gnawing on the edges of his excersaucer, which he's actually not quite big enough for. I think he's not teething, because he's been gnawing on stuff for a couple of weeks now, but he really does put everything he comes in contact with into his mouth. And tries to gum it to death. We also had him in the jolly jumper yesterday, which he enjoys, even though he's also not technically big enough for that either. Well, he's *big* enough for both of them, he weighs about 17lbs, but he can't sit up on his own, so he's not supposed to be in them. Whatev, he likes it, and I'm not going to leave him in either while I go get a spa treatment or anything. We're going to have to buy him a new carseat too, because he's almost too big for his infant carrier jobbie. I'm pretty sure they're supposed to last more than 4 months, but maybe not. He doesn't really seem big enough for the stroller without the carseat in it, but I guess he must be.
That's about all my news. I can hear my dear boy putting a great deal of effort into soiling himself, so I suppose I had better go take care of that.
