ER update

If you haven't watched it yet, don't read this.

As usual, there was lots of stuff that went on that wasn't really integral to the show, so I'll probably forget some things. I also don't know all of the new residents' names.
Romano was trying to fire Pratt, and arranged a meeting with Weaver and Anspaw for after their shift (this is Thanksgiving day of course). Some other random stuff happens, they have this hot-shot VIP patient who they're choppering to a different hospital, and he forgets his watch, so somebody has to bring it up to the heli-pad. Neela said she would take it up, but didn't know how to get there. Romano was there but hesitated, and Frank made a comment about being afraid. Understandably, of course. So that gets Romano's goat, and he takes her up. He has horrible flashbacks, and while nothing bad happens, he heads downstairs really quickly and boots it outside for some fresh air. Once outside, he finds the new red-haired completely incompetent doctor SMOKING A JOINT made from pot he STOLE from a patient. He tells him to get the hell inside and wait there until he gets back. Back on the heli-pad, we see the helicopter behaving erratically, and it winds up hitting its propeller on the building, sending part of it into a nurse's back, sending the helicopter over the edge of the hospital, where it explodes midway down and then lands ON DR. ROMANO.

Let's take a moment.

That's just horrible. I don't think that was a good way to get rid of him at all; it's too cruel.

Nobody knew he was out there, so nobody knows where he is or that he's dead as of the end of the show, when they pull the copter off the ground and see a body. And while the whole awful thing is going on, that stupid red-haired doctor is just sitting at admin, because he's high, and that's what Dr. Romano told him to do. Why couldn't he have gotten crushed? Other things that happened....an HIV positive lady had a miscarriage and had to have a hystorectomy, which was very sad because she wanted to have children....Kovac almost got a patient killed because he snuck him up to another floor without permission and cuffed him to a post, so when the helicopter exploded he couldn't get free. He was ok though. Sam (the new nurse)'s son invited Kovac out to supper with them. I think that's about it. Oh yeah, and Carter is sleeping with some chick in the Congo.

In other news, I left the usb cable for my camera at school, so the pics of fishes and plant will have to wait.
