what's old is new again

Hey there and hello.

A while back, the cd player was stolen out of my car. They were really nice about it, they locked the door behind themselves and didn't take any of the dozens of cds that were in the car, just the player. Asses. Anyway, they did actually steal one cd, that was in the player. It was my Ben Folds Live cd, that I had for about 4 days previous to the theft. Anyway, I tried downloading the songs, but because it was a live cd, they had to be the right versions, edited properly, and even when that was decently accomplished, my stupid burner program still puts a gap between all the songs, so it didn't flow properly. I sort of gave up and forgot about it, but recently caved and re-bought the cd. I'm glad I did. My favourite songs right now are Not the Same and Fred Jones pt2. I can't sing along with all of Ben's low notes, but I enjoy myself immensely anyway. You guys should go buy the cd.
That's a fun lyric site too, it has all the talking parts too, not just the singing.

I've updated the "buy me stuff" section for those of you looking to, well, buy me stuff. I realize this is a select group of my readership, but this is as good a place as any to post my Christmas list. Most of the things I want are unfortunately pricey; I'm not sure what to do about that.

I'm also looking (again) into getting my own domain name. I thought about using the octopus title, but it's a bit cumbersome. My other favourite line from that joke (and just a fun line in general) is "goats are best", and you can bet your ass that www.goatsarebest.com is available. It would be fun, for sure, but might it get old pretty quickly? I want something I'm not going to have to switch for a long time. Any thoughts? I don't really want my name in it, I'd like to keep some sense of anonymity.

I'm having a bit of a dilemma lately, and I don't think I'm alone. I love to eat meat. It's really tasty. But whenever I think about where said meat came from, I get sort of sad. Chickens I can handle, I think they have a fairly quick and humane ending, but as far as anything else, even fish, I'm just not so sure. I also have leather shoes and a jacket. What to do?

Too much thinking for one night, I'm done. Happy Thursday!
