see, I went and got used to having somebody here, even though it was only for like 4 days. *sigh*
I'm watching "Extreme Makeover", waiting for my (free) pay-per-view movie to come on, Bend it Like Beckham. I had bread for supper, and am planning on having popcorn with the movie.
I don't really have anything new to report, this week was pretty good, I'm a big fan of a day off in the middle, it really breaks up the week. I was on my way home today, and saw a huge pink sign saying "Piano Sale!". I thought maybe it was a sign, literally, so I stopped in. They have my perfect keyboard / digital piano, for the low low price of $1399. It's normally $1799, so really it's sort of a deal, but holy crap. They had another keyboard for $348, but it just wasn't nearly as good. As the guy said, it would get me playing again, but I'd be tired of it pretty quickly and wanting something better anyway. I'm holding out for Christmas. The best ones, as far as I can tell, are the Yamaha Clavinova, with this bad boy being the one I saw today.
I'll keep wishing! I realized today that I have to start some serious budget action, I'm not making any money. I know it'll get better when Grant moves back, but I should be able to manage on my own, and I'm not really doing very well. I'm not dying or anything, but I could be better. I've looked at what I'm wasting on, and cable is the first thing that comes to mind, but I don't think I can give that up living by myself. I have a bit more than I need, but because it's in this nifty bundle package, I'm getting like 30 extra chanels, including movies and specialty digital channels, for about $15. I could cancel those, but $15 isn't going to make that much difference in the next month. I might kibosh them when Grant gets home though, since I'll have somebody to entertain me.
Ok, Beckham awaits!
