My favourite part is the next question...

When you use live animals such as rats and snakes on the show, how do you make sure they are not hurt or mistreated?
Fear Factor always hires professional animal handlers that raise and take care of the animals. These are the same handlers that work many major TV and movie productions. When animals are involved in a stunt, the handlers are present on set at all times. They also advise producers on how to humanely and safely interact with the animals.

This is a load of hooey. Note how they say they advise producers on how to humanely and safely interact with the animals, no mention of the contestants, who, let's admit, are of questionable mental capability anyway. I'm sure they're being super careful of whatever animal they're stuck in a tank with, they're not rolling on or otherwise harming any of the animals. They eat live animals. Sure, they're only little animals, but I'm pretty sure no matter how little you are, getting your head bitten off or being turned into a slurry in a blender is a less-than enjoyable experience.

Anyway, that's my rant for tonight. I'm off to watch CSI:Miami, even though it's not nearly as good as the real CSI. A word to the wise, do not take Advil cold and sinus before bed. It will lead to possibly the worst sleep ever. Neo Citrin on the other hand, will do good things for you. But with this also you must be careful. At all costs, stay away from the honey lemon flavour. It sounds tasty, no? It's not. It tastes like ass. Grotesquely sweet ass, but ass, nonetheless. Stick to the lemon.

One final thought, has anyone eaten at McDonald's lately? I have, and the fries taste different. Not bad, just different. I'm worried that they've switched to veggie oil. They have always cooked in lard. Disgusting? Perhaps.... Delicious? Most definitely. Anyway, they're on this whole health kick, getting rid of large pops and super sized fries, introducing salads as a substitute for fries in your combo... I'll have to ask my students. Some of them work there, they'll tell me what's going on.

One of my 11s brought me an apple today, for a joke for my birthday. Very cute. She made me a card too; the other kids made fun of her a bit, but they were joking and it was funny.

CSI now, then bed.
