ok, I'm back, having bid a fond farewell to a little neon tetra.

I just bought myself some plants for my classroom, having told the girl that I get no sunlight whatsoever. She advised me to buy this Kalanchoe plant, which is very sweet looking, and comes in a bunch of colours. So I did, but then I'm just searching on Google to find the name of it, and it says that it does indeed need lots of direct sunlight. If they die, I'll be sad, and I'll take them back.

I'm trying to type here, and my cat is laying on my arms and nosing my hands. He's very friendly, but sort of a pain when I'm trying to blog.

I vaccuumed the whole apartment today, I was pretty proud of myself. Did the stairs and everything. I also opened up the paint for the apartment to show Grant's mom, and the one that is for the main walls, supposedly a green, is yellow. Maybe it has settled out, I'm not sure. I'll get our landlord to shake them up again when I have time to paint, soon I hope, and see what colour it is then. I like yellow, but not for my whole house. Anyway, that's about the extent of the excitement for my weekend, so I'll quit here and go make myself some supper.
