There have been some questions regarding the toaster oven/rotisserie/griddle. It's just what it sounds like, you can bake and broil and rotisserie, and on the top there is a little pan that fits in that you can cook stuff in, like eggs or veggies. Ok?
School was good. I was a bit frazzled because I never plan enough stuff, but I know that about myself, so I plan "if enough time" things that I almost always end up using. It works for me. My students seem basically good, some of them are repeating grade 9 for the 2nd or 3rd time so they're a bit pissed off to be there at all, but there's not much I can do about that really. I'm putting together my formal plans for things to do tonight, going through the interest sheets to see what specifically the classes want to do and don't want to do; I'll take that into consideration but of course I won't let the 9/10 classes completely decide what they get to do, since a lot of them put "nothing" when I asked what they liked about art classes in the past.
Anyway, I have about a million and one things I have to do, including, but not limited to, dishes, laundry, making banana bread before my bananas grow legs and run away, make syllabi for my courses, make an "emergency lesson plan", do a sheet on how to respond to art work, buy some paper and fake flowers, etc, etc. That just made me more tired, so I'm going to go get started.
