Ooh, yet *more* options for blogging! V exciting. Well, feeling better obviously than I was last time.

I went to Future Shop tonight to buy a printer that was on sale. $199 for a laser printer, pretty good deal. So I get there, and find the printer, but also find an HP refurbished for $179, even better deal. Thing is, for some reason it doesn't have toner in it. It's supposed to, so the very helpful guy goes to find some. He comes back and can't find any, but his manager says he can meet me in the middle (give me half price) on a new toner cartridge. Now, that is a good deal, but not when I'm supposed to be getting toner for free. The stuff that comes with does ~4000 pages, the stuff they wanted to sell me for $50 ($100 regular) does about 6000 pages, since it's high yield. Whatever that means. So I said, ok, well 4000 is 2/3 of 6000, so I'll pay you for the other 1/3, which would be $33. Nice guy takes this back to his manager, spends quite a while talking to him, comes back and says he can't do any better than $50. I say I'm sorry, but I can't pay that much for something I'm supposed to be getting for free.

I did want the printer, and could reason paying 1/3 the price, but I saw no reason why I should have to pay 1/2 the price, when I shouldn't have had to pay anything for quite a while, since I don't do all that much printing. I do need to be able to print well when I need to print though, which my little Canon s400 just isn't doing for me.

In other news...
I have no other news. I found out today that some little punk in one of my classes was, as I suspected, not supposed to be coming to my class. Dink. He'll be gone as of tomorrow though. He's trouble in other ways too, so I don't feel bad for whatever's coming his way. Most of my classes are good overall though. I have one boy who likes to comment back to me on everything I say, but I gave him his official warning today; and one girl who has enough attitude to last several teenage girls 3 lifetimes. She too has been given notice.

Tirésa bought us supper fixins last night, and cheesecake. We ended up saving both for tonight, which is why I must leave you now. Cheesecake beckons.

a bientot.
